Blarney Ranch Beef

Our Dexter cattle live life in a natural setting as they have for hundreds of years, resulting in grass-finished beef that is chemical, vaccine, and hormone free.

Our Dexter beef also contains high levels of important fatty acids: omega-3, omega-6, omega-9, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid). In short, Blarney Ranch provides a clean, healthy beef product you can be proud to serve your family.

All of our Dexter beef is processed in Kalispell, Montana at a family-owned butcher facility following traditional butchering principles in accordance with the highest standards in the industry. Our Dexter beef is professionally vacuum-sealed, maintaining the quality and health benefits from our ranch to your table.

The exceptional taste of properly aged, grass-finished Dexter beef is something you will not soon forget.

Ordering & Pickup

Whitefish or Kalispell pickup

Pickup is available every Monday at Sportsman & Ski Haus:

A representative from the ranch will reach out to you prior to meeting to ensure a smooth pickup. We kindly ask that you bring your own cooler(s) at pickup, should you desire to use one.

Unless otherwise communicated beforehand, your meat will be brought to the pickup location deep frozen in one of our freezers for safe transport from the ranch to the Flathead Valley.

Trego pickup

Pickup is available on Fridays and Saturdays at Blarney Ranch. We kindly ask that you bring your own cooler(s) at pickup, should you desire to use one.

Once you have received an email confirmation that your order is ready for pickup, stop on by the Blarney Ranch during our pickup hours. The store is located through the main ranch entrance off Ant Flat Road. Your order will be in the well-marked white cottage located directly adjacent to the historic ranch house.

If no one is in the store to directly assist you, do not worry! In the store is a clearly marked freezer designated for customer pickup. Simply check inside for the box labeled with your information and you’re all set to enjoy your Blarney Ranch beef! If you did not order beef, or ordered other non-meat products from us, your box will be clearly labeled with your information and awaiting you on the counter at the back of the ranch store.

They are located at 2115 Lower Valley Road, Kalispell, MT 59901 and can be reached at (406) 752-2846. Prior to your share being ready for pickup, a representative of either Blarney Ranch, or Lower Valley Processing, will reach out to you directly and inform you.

Blarney Ranch Meat

Our Dexter cattle are completely grass fed for their entire lives, period. They are provided nothing synthetic, no grains, soy, or any other feed. As we like to say, our cattle eat the field, the whole field, and nothing but the field.

We do not provide our cattle with any vaccinations or medications. Dexter cattle are naturally pest-resistant and disease-resistant, largely due to their heritage breed status, and our management practices allow us to manage the herds and the land to defend and deter common pest and disease issues associated with cattle.

The short answer is, no, not technically. However, we practice true all-natural “organic” methods in raising our beef. We strongly believe in regenerative ranching, for soil health, environmental health, and by default, animal and human health. We are completely transparent in our practices, our facilities, and our methods, and our customers appreciate this more than a for-profit certification label on a package.

We are truly grateful for comments like this we receive, and it all comes down to three factors, breed selection, forage quality, and finishing time.
